Somerset Chamber of Commerce aims to raise the awareness of the skills and employability of our Armed Forces Community and to transition them into employment, business and our community within Somerset. With this in mind, we have demonstrated our long-standing commitment to the Armed Forces by signing up to the Armed Forces Covenant.
The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve or who have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly. The renewal of the Covenant took place at the Wessex Reserve Forces and Cadets Association office in Taunton on 7th February 2019, where Jon Beake, Regional Employment Engagement Director for the Wessex Reserve Forces’ & Cadets Association and Stephen Henagulph, Chief Executive of Somerset Chamber of Commerce and countersigned the document.
Wessex Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association (RFCA) is responsible for the delivery of the Armed Forces Covenant in the South West region.
Businesses interested in finding out how they could benefit from pledging their support to the Armed Forces community should contact Jon, on 01823 250110 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
