How First Sale for Export Can Reduce US Import Duty

Discover how UK and EU exporters can reduce US import duty costs without reducing their own prices

US import duties continue to place significant pressure on importers and supply chains. However, many businesses are unaware that a legitimate customs valuation method known as First Sale for Export (FSFE) may allow US duty to be calculated on an earlier transaction value within the supply chain.

For eligible transactions, this can generate substantial duty savings for US importers while allowing exporters to maintain their margins and strengthen customer relationships.

Join customs and trade specialist Douglas Mackay on 15th September at 10am for this practical 60-minute webinar, where he will explain how First Sale for Export works, the legal framework behind it, and the key compliance requirements businesses need to understand.

  • Incoterms, title transfer and payment considerations
  • Common compliance risks and documentation requirements
