Specialist marine and outdoor PR agency ADPR has been appointed to support the UK’s largest boat show for 2026.
The project will see ADPR provide PR and press office support for Southampton International Boat Show (SIBS), following its work with the event in 2025.
Taking place from September 18-27, Southampton International Boat Show is one of the most important dates in the UK marine calendar, bringing together marine businesses, exhibitors, boat buyers, watersports enthusiasts and thousands of visitors from across the UK and beyond.
ADPR’s brief includes marine consumer and trade PR, exhibitor relations, website content and on-site press office management throughout the show. The agency will work closely with British Marine, the trade association for the UK marine industry and organiser of Southampton International Boat Show, to build visibility for the event, support exhibitors in maximising media opportunities, and ensure the show’s key stories reach relevant marine, lifestyle, business and consumer audiences.
The win further strengthens ADPR’s position as the leading PR agency for the marine and outdoor sectors.
Kate O’Sullivan, Joint Managing Director at ADPR, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be supporting Southampton International Boat Show again in 2026. The show is a major moment for the UK marine industry, not only as a showcase for boats, products and innovation, but as a platform for the people, businesses and stories shaping the future of the sector.
“Our role is to help bring those stories to the fore, supporting the show team and exhibitors with strategic, targeted communications that build excitement ahead of the event and deliver strong media engagement on site.”
Adrien Burnand, Director of Marketing & Special Projects at British Marine, said: “Following a successful collaboration in 2025, we’re delighted to be working with ADPR once again for Southampton International Boat Show 2026. Their extensive expertise within the marine sector, combined with a strong understanding of the wider outdoor and watersports markets, makes them ideally placed to help us engage our core audiences, from boating and watersports enthusiasts through to serious boat buyers.
“ADPR did an excellent job supporting last year’s show, helping to amplify exhibitor stories, generate strong media coverage and build excitement around the event. We’re looking forward to building on that success together as we continue to grow the UK’s flagship boat show.”
ADPR has been operating for more than thirty years and has a diverse range of clients across the specialist outdoor and marine sectors. For more information, visit: www.adpr.co.uk.
