Somerset Chamber of Commerce is running a Somerset food and drink forum specifically for business owner and senior leaders who work in the food and drink sector.
Our forum will be held at Thatchers' Cider and aims to connect senior decision-makers to discuss common challenges, discuss best practice and shared growing pains. All discussions will be held in full confidence.
There will also be an opportunity to network with like-minded business professionals from the food and drink sector and the chance to chat openly about the things that matter to your business.
We are delighted that we will be joined by Eleanor Thatcher. Eleanor is a fifth-generation coder maker who embodies the values and traditions of the 120 year old company, while also bringing a fresh perspective to cider making, sustainability and innovation.
The forum will be chaired by Chris Milton of Chris Milton Executive Coaching. Chris has over 35 years in the food and drink industry and has recently stepped down after 15 years as a director of Thatchers Cider. Chris now works primarily as a business and leadership coach and mentor and has Thatchers Cider, Stephens Scown and Müller among his clients. He has recently been part of the team that has purchased Taste of the West from the administrator with a view to rebuilding the brand.
