Vivacity Healthcare achieves Care Quality Commission registration

Vivacity Healthcare, a South West-based organisation and member of Somerset Chamber, has achieved formal registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as of June 27, 2025—a key development for the business and its clients.

The CQC registration demonstrates that Vivacity Healthcare has met the stringent requirements set by the independent regulator of health and social care in England, including evidence that the organisation delivers services that are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.

The process of securing CQC registration is known to be rigorous. As part of the application, providers must submit detailed documentation about their management approach, governance, safeguarding practices, and show that they are capable of meeting the fundamental standards of care.

The CQC assesses whether new providers, such as Vivacity Healthcare, are likely to deliver high-quality and compliant services before approval is granted. According to industry guidance, the process can involve weeks of preparation, including self-assessment, policy development, readiness checks, and responding to follow-up queries from CQC inspectors.

Sarah Okoro, Founder and Director of Vivacity Healthcare, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded CQC registration. This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to putting people first—ensuring every aspect of our consultancy meets the highest standards of quality and integrity. For our clients, it provides further assurance that our advice and support are grounded in best practice and robust regulatory compliance.”

For Vivacity Healthcare’s clients—which include care providers, organisations navigating regulatory change, and families—the registration brings added confidence. Registration means Vivacity Healthcare can now formally support a wider range of regulated activities and is subject to ongoing review under the CQC Single Assessment Framework, introduced in 2024, which prioritises continuous improvement based on safety, effectiveness, and lived experience.

Sarah added: “This registration is not only recognition of the standards we uphold but also of the trust our clients place in us. It enables us to further champion excellence and innovation in the sector.”

CQC registration represents more than compliance—it is a visible commitment to sector-wide quality and improvement. Vivacity Healthcare’s new status positions it as a trusted partner for providers seeking up-to-date support on care standards and regulatory change.
