Musical Theatre Summer School is back at Taunton Brewhouse from August 11-15 and this year’s course comes with an extra special surprise.
Participants will not only enjoy five days of immersive training in singing, acting, and dancing – they’ll also have the incredible opportunity to work with West End performer Rachel Rawlinson. 
Rachel brings with her a wealth of professional experience and star power, with an impressive list of theatre credits including Shucked (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre), Six the Musical (Vaudeville Theatre), Heathers (Theatre Royal Haymarket), The Sound of Music (London Palladium) and Mary Poppins (Prince Edward Theatre).
This year’s Musical Theatre Summer School, which is open to young performers aged 13-19, promises to be an exciting week of artistic development. Participants will have the freedom to express their creativity, forge new friendships and work imaginatively as part of a team. As a group, they will produce and rehearse an end of week showcase which will then be shared with family and friends as part of a special Studio Theatre performance.
Whether it’s belting out a show tune, perfecting choreography, or nailing a monologue, the Musical Theatre Summer School offers a unique platform for aspiring actors to build their confidence and showcase their talents.

Musical Theatre Summer School is delivered in collaboration with Rest End Ltd. Rest End provides accessible, industry-led performing arts opportunities for schools, colleges, and theatre-loving individuals, including workshops, musical theatre parties, and private coaching.
The company is uniquely formed and comprised of resting professional actors, all of whom share extensive and recent West End experience.
