Weston College recognises that, despite challenging times, many employers are looking at how to access training for their teams. The college also knows there are plenty of options available for employers to access funding and skills support and that it can sometimes feel overwhelming and leave firms not knowing where to start – which is why the college is launching Skills Surgeries.
Skills Surgeries are 40 minute online appointments, for any employer to have a conversation with a member of the college team. They have a simple objective: providing advice on how to access funding for skills training. Businesses describe their workforce development challenge and the college will help to find a solution.
During these one-to-one sessions, the college will understand the business, recruitment needs or current and future skills shortages and provide clear advice on how you can access funded training or new resources, helping you plan and adapt for the future.
