Richard Huish College will be launching its own radio show as part of an exciting new partnership between the college and Taunton-based radio station, Tone FM.
The show which will be curated by media course manager, Dave Bryant, will feature a wide range of material mainly produced by our students. The collaboration will give students a great opportunity to create content that will be used in a real radio broadcast additionally it will give them experience in the industry. It will also offer up-and-coming musicians from the College a chance for their music to be heard on a wider scale.
Dave said: “I am delighted Tone FM have given us the opportunity to work with them and we have been able to add The Richard Huish College Radio Show to the EnRICH activities offered at Huish to all students.
“They got off to a great start recording interviews with other students on our EnRICH day in December and it will be fantastic to showcase all the amazing things that happen at Huish behind the scenes such as our upcoming musical production “Made in Dagenham.”.
The show will be on every Thursday from 8pm. Listeners can also tune in online by going to https://tonefm.co.uk/radioplayer/.
