Somerset County Cricket Club are pleased to be able to reveal that it will be continuing its partnership with Rotec Hydraulics for at least another 12 months.
The two organisations have today signed a renewal of the existing agreement, which will see Rotec continue as the Club’s Official Royal London Cup Partner.
Rotec branding will once again appear on the front of Somerset’s Royal London Cup matchday shirt, whilst their name will once again adorn our wet weather pitch covers.
Somerset CCC’s Commercial Director, Caroline Herbert, said: “Rotec’s branding has become synonymous with our most recent success, the Royal London Cup final win at Lord’s in 2019. Over the last few years, we have established an outstanding working relationship and everyone at the Club is delighted that this partnership will be continuing. Hopefully, we can retain the Royal London Cup in 2021 and celebrate with Rotec again like we did in 2019.”
Established in 1979 as a supplier of hydraulic hoses and couplings, Rotec Hydraulics has gone from strength to strength. The company is now one of the leading specialist providers of hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic components and systems to the public and private sectors.
Despite the company’s growth over the years, Rotec is still privately owned and operated from its Head Office at the Priorswood Industrial Estate.
After signing the partnership extension Paul Prouse, Rotec’s Managing Director, said: “Despite the challenges we have all faced during the last 12 months, we are pleased to continue our local connection and support to Somerset Country Cricket Club and the current Royal London Cup champions!
“SCCC have a great opportunity to retain that trophy this season and Rotec plus all our partners will be looking forward to their continued success in the RLC and across all campaigns this season.”
