Global freight services company, Western Logistics, based in Highbridge, has successfully passed its ISO 9001 recertification audit with UKAS-accredited certification body, Interface NRM.
Lyndon Reeve and Melissa Alderman and their wider team spearheaded the re-certification process with support from Sara and Richard Duff, of Smart Quality Services, an ISO Consultancy based in Bristol, which helped the company to implement ISO 9001 and prepare for the audit.
Lyndon Reeve, Director at Western Logistics, said: “Last week we received great news that we had another successful ISO 9001 Certification Audit, and my sincere thanks goes to Sara and Richard Duff of Smart Quality Services, for assisting us in achieving this great recognition.”
He added: “What a hectic, challenging, but rewarding year it’s been for us all at Western Logistics Ltd, with Brexit, COVID-19, fuel shortage and the merger of the Somerset and Devon offices to new premises in Rooksbridge, but none of this would have been possible without the hard work of my team, our loyal customers and suppliers.”
Richard Duff, Director at Smart Quality Services, said: “It’s been a pleasure working with Lyndon, Mel and the wider team at Western Logistics in supporting them with ISO consultancy services. The logistics industry has faced many challenges this year, not least of which has been Brexit, but the company has gone from strength-to-strength, adapting to the new rules and regulation, while at the same time expanding into new premises. Congratulations to the team on yet another successful ISO 9001 Certification Audit.”
