We Hear You (WHY) in Frome is looking for new people to join its Board. This is a very exciting time for the charity as they enter their 25th year and the beginning of a new strategy. No previous Board experience is necessary, just a willingness to get involved and help the charity support people affected by cancer.
Trustee (voluntary role)
WHY is a vibrant, dynamic and growing cancer charity working across Bath and North East Somerset, Somerset and Wiltshire. 2019 marks WHY’s 25th anniversary and in the last four years the charity has experienced dramatic growth. Income has increased by over 110% and our team has expanded by 160% to enable us to deliver more emotional support to people affected by cancer.
As WHY enters its 25th year we are looking to develop a bold strategy that will enable us to diversify the service we offer so that we can provide the therapeutic support that our community needs in a variety of ways.
We are looking for new members of our Board of Trustees who can offer us their experience and passion, to help shape the next 25 years of the charity, support our continued growth and enable WHY to reach everyone who needs our support.
