After being shortlisted for ‘Customer Service Excellence’ and ‘Small Business of the Year’, The Design Hive won both categories in this year’s Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards.
The black-tie awards evening was held live on YouTube due to the Coronavirus pandemic. All shortlisted businesses joined via Zoom and partied behind the scenes. 
Business owner Mel Downing said: “After 11 years in business, we cannot express how incredible it felt to win. This year has been for us, and so many other businesses, a challenging year. We remained positive throughout and have been here to help our clients adapt where necessary.
“We have seen such strength and determination from our clients, many of which have made their businesses even stronger. Congratulations to all shortlisted and award-winning businesses. We were proud to be there among you all”.
The past few years have been the most exciting to date for The Design Hive and winning these awards means 2020 has ended with a huge bang!
Mel thanked Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce for hosting the evening and also the sponsors, in particular, Sedgemoor District Council for sponsoring the ‘Small Business of the Year’ award and CETSAT for sponsoring the ‘Customer Service Excellence‘ award.
