Teapot Creative selected to judge at the 2020 World Beer Awards

Teapot Creative has been selected to judge the “World Beer Awards” at this year’s World Drinks
Awards, at Barrington, in Somerset.
These global annual awards and tasting events select the very best internationally-recognised beer styles, promoting the ‘World’s Best Beers’ to consumers and the trade throughout the world.
The Hambridge design company is set to send Director, Lizzie Ginbey, and Head of Creative,
Luke Matthews, to give their take on the visuals of some of most exciting beers of today.
Lizzie said: “The awards are a globally recognised accolade, celebrating the best beers, ciders,
wines and spirits from around the world on their taste and design.
“We’re both so excited to see what the 200 or so entries bring to the table and will be hoping
for something really unexpected!”
The event usually takes place in London, however, due to the current social distancing
concerns around city centres, the decision has been made to invite judges to the picturesque
village of Barrington.
Teapot’s Lizzie and Luke have a history designing for the drinks industry on brands like Butcombe Brewing Co., WKD, Aldwick Court and Jägermeister, so are perfectly placed to pick out the best from a crowd.
Luke said: “During such a difficult year, celebrating creativity and innovation is more
important than ever. It’s a positive event for the area and we’re delighted to be a part of it.
We’re looking forward to highlighting brands that go that extra step to bring something
gorgeous into the world.”
Lizzie concluded: “Teapot’s mantra is ‘Create. Change.’ It’s a mission statement to produce
sustainable work that leaves our clients, and the world, happier and kinder. And what’s more
important right now?”
The judging will take place in Barrington, Somerset on Friday, September 4.
