Taunton School has been shortlisted for Pre-Prep of the Year at the TES Independent School Awards.
The TES Awards recognise the most outstanding schools in the independent sector with the judges looking at innovation, imagination and efforts to develop children that go beyond the league tables.
Louise Leah, Head of Taunton School Pre-Prep, said: “We are delighted that we have been shortlisted for this TES Award – it is a tremendous achievement and recognises the hard work and dedication of the Pre-Prep team.
“At Taunton School, we all know how crucial the first few years of learning are for any young child and that in order for children to flourish and get the best out of any opportunity, they need to be supported, challenged and inspired. With a happy team of professional staff, we support the very beginnings of learning.”
TES editor, Jon Severs, added: “After a difficult year for all schools, it is an honour to celebrate the TES Independent School awards, not only to celebrate excellent practice but to ensure that practice is shared far and wide.
“We received an unparalleled number of entries this year, which is testament to the great work all have done during the pandemic. The schools that have been shortlisted should be proud – it’s a remarkable achievement”
The winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony on Friday, April 30.
