Summerfield Homes supports Watchet school

Summerfield Homes has completed and handed over a new car park to Knights Templar Primary School, in Watchet, as part of its commitment to supporting the vibrant coastal town where the company is building, initially, 75 new homes.

The new car park has 16 spaces and was constructed at no cost to the school

David Frowde, Headteacher, said: “The creation of this staff car park is a very welcome addition to the school site. It will provide much needed parking spaces that will free up existing spaces for our visitors.

“We are working closely with the team at Summerfield Homes as the Liddymore Park development progresses and we have been really pleased with the excellent communication and collaboration that exists between the school and all levels of contractors.”

Mark Woodland, Projects Manager at Summerfield Homes, added: “We are pleased to have completed the car park, increasing the parking options available for the school. Thank you to Mr Frowde and the school for their understanding whilst completing these works.”

With a total of 250 new homes being built in Watchet by Summerfield Homes, the first phase of 75 are due to be available early 2023 and a selection of these properties will shortly be released to be purchased off plan.
