SSG Training and Consultancy held their second charity quiz on 29 March, which was attended by team members, friends and family. The evening was a huge success, raising over £150 in aid of SSG’s chosen charities for 2019 – Devon Air Ambulance Trust, RNLI and Children’s Hospice South West.
The quiz took place at their Plymouth headquarters on Valley Road and was hosted by David Arnold, a comedian and a member of the SSG customer service team. There was also a raffle, with prizes donated from local companies and members of the SSG team. These included tickets to the National Marine Aquarium and Bays Brewery beers.
Gemma McDonald, captain of the winning team, said: “We had a really enjoyable evening with friends and family and it’s good to see all the funds going to charities who do such amazing work. The scores were very close but we were delighted to be crowned winners – we’re looking forward to retaining the title next year!”
