Actors needing to produce a self-tape or edit their own showreel are being invited to attend an actors’ self-tape and showreel editing workshop hosted by Somerset Film.
It follows on from the success of a recent actor networking session.
Actors will gain knowledge on how to use film equipment and editing software during the workshop which is taking place at The Engine Room, in Bridgwater, on Thursday, July 27, from 10.30am – 4.30pm.
Attendees do not need any previous experience in filmmaking and all the equipment will be provided.
During the one-day workshop, participants you will receive hints and tips on producing a self-tape. They will spend the morning going through the technical setup of a self-tape, how to effectively act on camera and get the chance to film their own self-tape to take away with them. During the afternoon, the focus will be on editing a showreel.
