A Bath law firm has again been top ranked by independent legal guide Chambers for its work in Somerset.
Stone King’s Private Wealth Law team was awarded the coveted Band 1 ranking in Chambers’ latest High Net Worth guide.
There is also continued recognition for three of the firm’s partners – Alison Allen (right), Dan Harris (left) and Andrew Mortimer (below right) as notable practitioners – with Dan also lauded as a Foreign Expert for France.
Chambers carries out extensive research in order to award ratings and says those ranked “understand the complex needs of HNW individuals and provide specialist advice.”.
Chambers said of Alison, who is both the firm’s Chair and Head of Stone King’s Private Client Sector: “(Alison is) engaged in high-value wills and advising on complex estates, succession and tax planning.”
Chambers said Dan Harris is “experienced in complex and often international estate planning and probates” as well as being a “ leading cross-border estate expert.”
The legal guide praises Andrew Mortimer’s “particular experience in dealing with complex estates and trusts, including landed estates.”
“I am delighted that we have again received a top ranking,” said Alison.
“Stone King’s ethos is one of doing the right thing for our clients, for our communities, for our people and as a business and Chambers recognition helps us know we are achieving this.”
“We are also grateful to our clients who continue to entrust us with their work and to the team of lawyers who are so pleased to support them.”
Chambers added: “Stone King is experienced in trust and estate planning, including international estate planning and LPAs and wills advice.”
Stone King works nationally with offices in Bath, Bristol, Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds and London, and specialises in Business & Social Enterprise, Charity, Education, Faith and Private Client law.
Further Chambers rankings will be announced in the autumn.
