Following the addition of two new members to their team, Taunton-based accountants, Walpole Dunn, have recently moved from their scenic base at Hestercombe House into newly-renovated office space in the centre of town. The new offices at East Reach House will support the firm’s ambitious growth plans as it continues to build on the successes of its first three years in business.
The firm, which won the New to Apprenticeships Award at the Somerset Apprenticeships Awards 2019, has recently taken on two new apprentices as part of its drive to develop a team entrenched with the firm’s ethos of providing proactive, solution-led support to its clients.
“Our plan has always been to grow the firm with apprentices who can make their way through the ranks and become the teacher for the next recruits. This is already paying dividends for us and, inevitably, has led to us outgrowing our previous office space,”said Director, Tony Dunn.
“Our new offices will enable us to continue our ambitious growth plans and also provide more suitable client spaces,” he added.
The offices include a dedicated boardroom, break-out space, conference room and visitor parking. The firm plans to make some of its facilities available to local businesses: “It can be difficult for smaller businesses to find good, affordable space in town to hold meetings, so we’ll be offering that facility to clients and other local businesses later in the year,” Mr Dunn said.
Walpole Dunn is an independent firm of Chartered Certified Accountants based in Taunton. It supports owner-managed small and medium-sized businesses across the UK with its range of accountancy and tax compliance and consultancy services.
