Christmas is a time of giving and being with friends and family, it’s about enjoying the festivities and sometimes it’s about over indulgence. However, sadly, there are far too many people that will not see this time as a period of fun and frivolity, who have no money and who sadly will have no food.
Therefore, the team at Red Berry Recruitment has chosen to support two fantastic charities by helping help them collect the items they need to make a few more people’s Christmas a little better.
Red Berry Recruitment has chosen Glastonbury Food Bank in Glastonbury for the Shepton Mallett office to support – https://together.ourchurchweb.org.uk/glastonbury/churches/foodbank/ – and the Lord’s Larder Food Bank in Yeovil for the Yeovil office – https://www.ycstyeovil.org.uk/the-lords-larder/.
Both charities are always grateful for support. Below is a list of items that the charities have said they need. However, people are being encouraged to donate whatever they can. And, as it’s Christmas, why not consider Christmas puddings and mince pies!
Items:
All items can be dropped in to one of the Red Berry offices at either 16c Hendford, in Yeovil, or 28 High Street, in Shepton Mallet. The last day for delivery will be Wednesday, 11 December, as the team is planning to deliver the donations on Friday, 13 December.
