SSG Training and Consultancy has praised the success of delegates who recently sat the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) exams after completely courses provided by SSG.
The latest results relate to exams taken at the end of 2019 and include the Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety and Fire Safety and Risk Management certificates.
Delegates studying the Environmental Management Certificate achieved an impressive 100% pass rate – with all delegates achieving either a credit or distinction. For a credit, students have to gain 180 marks or above across all three units, while a distinction means students gained 210 marks and above.
Those studying for their certificate in Occupational Health and Safety gained a 94% pass rate, 80% of whom achieved either a credit or distinction. The course is a first step for many individuals into a career in health and safety, providing a valuable overview as well as a sound basis for further professional study.
The NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management had a 90% pass rate, with 64% of learners achieving either a credit or distinction.
Miles Redhead, Training Coordinator at SSG, said: “We are extremely proud of all our delegates and their achievements. Our team of experienced tutors have worked hard to develop NEBOSH courses that not only help delegates approach their exams with confidence but with the skills to further their health and safety career.”
