Taunton-based digital services and technology company, Orbital Global, has been selected to participate in Innovate UK’s Scaleup Programme. Funded by Innovate UK and delivered by Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the Scaleup Programme supports a select group of companies on a journey to exponential growth. The initiative will help Orbital Global scale up its world leading digital services and technology innovations.
The programme is designed to support highly innovative, ambitious, high-growth oriented companies already on their scaling journey, whose innovations or business models can disrupt an existing market, and who are establishing or already implementing their international markets strategy.
The scaleup directors will help Orbital Global to structure itself for global growth and work with the company to understand the particular set of needs that it faces on its scaling journey.
Orbital Global was accepted following a rigorous three-stage screening process. Hayden Allen-Vercoe, COO of Orbital Global, said: “We are an ambitious, pioneering, and innovative company, offering world leading services and technologies. Our plans for positioning Orbital as a leading global business are already starting to become reality.
“Having the advice and experience of the Innovate UK team to help us navigate any blockers to our growth is hugely exciting. We are thrilled to have been accepted onto this prestigious programme and are already benefitting from their input.”
Maxine Adam, Head of Business Growth at Innovate UK, added: “Our work with the Orbital team is a great example of just how much value this programme can add to the endeavours of the business leaders we support. The inputs are varied and blend strategic thinking with invaluable hands-on tactical guidance, to create outcomes that deliver real commercial advantage. It’s a pleasure working with the Orbital Directors at this pivotal time for their business.”
Orbital Global is already regarded as a world leading digital expert. It has pioneered disruptive, “game changing” digital healthcare research methodologies, interactive hyperrealistic AI avatars and revolutionary augmented reality asthma apps that will save lives.
