NRL’s recruitment business is celebrating after being recognised as one of the UK’s top providers for another year.
The Largest Staffing Firms in the UK report is prepared following extensive research by specialists at Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) to rank the top 50 performing recruitment businesses in the UK each year by stringently evaluating each organisations’ financial performance against their industry peers.
Having initially established its specialist nuclear recruitment expertise in Cumbria in 1984, NRL has continued to develop niche capability across engineering and technical sectors including conventional power, infrastructure, renewables and the built environment.
Reaching the £10 million turnover point in 1993 and, subsequently, the £100 million mark in 2013, the Group’s latest 2019 financial return secured a turnover of £186m. Originally operating from one office in Cumbria, the recruitment operation now has nine specialist branches – including an international presence in Egypt and more recently in 2020 setting up operations in Ireland.
Discussing the placement NRL’s CEO, David Redmayne, said: “We’ve grown our business over the last three decades by moving with our clients. As they’ve grown their service capability so too have we – ensuring we can continue to support them with the right people with the right skills.
“To continue to be recognised as a leading UK staffing firm means more to us than just being able to say our Recruitment expertise is one of the best in the country. It means our colleagues really understand our clients and candidates, and the long-term relationships they build help us all remain successful.”
