North Somerset business leaders connect over breakfast

ALMOST 60 business professionals from across North Somerset got together to share ideas and make new connections at a second successful networking event organised by chartered accountants Albert Goodman in Weston-super-Mare.

The North Somerset Professionals Breakfast took place in Lasseter’s Restaurant in the town’s Winter Gardens and included a full English breakfast, as well as the chance to meet like-minded business associates.

Albert Goodman, which specialises in accountancy, tax, financial planning and business advisory, organised an equally well-attended inaugural event back in March.

Chris Walford, Audit and Business Advisory Partner at Albert Goodman’s Weston and Burnham offices, said: “North Somerset is experiencing strong business growth and development and I am thrilled so many professionals were able to attend this event.

“We want to help the region’s business leaders build on their existing strengths and successes by making new connections and bolstering existing ones.”

The North Somerset Professionals Breakfast will now become a regular event in the local calendar, with the next one due to take place on Thursday, 13 September.

Alistair Tudor, Head of Chamber Services for Somerset Chamber of Commerce, was among the delegates who

attended the breakfast: “It was great to see so many businesses connecting in Weston and thanks to Albert Goodman for hosting another excellent event.

“It’s always amazing to see how many valuable relationships can be started and rekindled over the course of a couple of hours.  We’re looking forward to attending regularly.”

With offices across the region, including Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea, Taunton, Chard, Yeovil, Bridgwater, Wedmore and Weymouth, Albert Goodman prides itself in providing high quality accountancy, tax and financial planning advice to private individuals and small to medium-sized enterprises, offering a comprehensive service to local and national clients.
