After 10 years at the heart of Weston super Mare’s industrial area, on the Weston Industrial Estate, Amarin Rubber and Plastics Ltd has moved to its first ever purpose-built premises in Rolstone Business Park, just off the A370 only a few seconds off the M5’s Junction 21.
The move has enabled the company to double its floorspace, giving the firm a more practical layout, complete with dedicated break areas, both inside and out, for staff.
Managing Director, Ian Howells, said: “Going from a busy industrial estate to the peace and quiet of our new home in the countryside, the move has been a great thing for Amarin and has allowed us to hold a more diverse range of materials at a time when supply chains are stretched for everyone.
“In the future there is potential for the premises to grow in its current location and this provides Amarin with a level of future proofing that we have never had before. For the first time in our history, we can be truly proud of our premises when customers and suppliers visit us.”
Amarin felt it was important to use local contractors to help with the move and used local builders, electricians and plumbers, in addition to a local design team.
