Somerset-based outdoor, fitness and wellness communications agency, ADPR, has announced the appointment of a new PR professional to its award-winning consultancy, along with two promotions within the team and a recruitment drive for a new Account Manager.
New recruit, Jack Loomie, has joined the agency as an Account Executive, working on clients including Helly Hansen, Wookey Hole and Haven Dredging. He is a marketing graduate from the University of Leicester, and in his new role he will be responsible for creating content and working with media and influencers on a national and international level.
As part of the agency’s development, Beki Sharman has been promoted to Senior Account Director and will be responsible for overseeing client relationships and developing strategies to meet their needs. Beki started at the agency as an apprentice in 2011 and has worked her way up to this senior role. She also works with the senior team on new business development and the growth of the agency.
Kira Daly has been promoted to Senior Account Executive. Kira first joined ADPR in March 2020 in the role of PR Apprentice, in amidst the beginning of the global pandemic and national lockdown. She has since completed her degree at Greenwich University while working at ADPR part-time. In her new full-time position, she will be responsible for leading on client accounts to deliver plans and managing media relations.
ADPR continues to go from strength-to-strength – it has won six new clients in four months across the marine and travel and tourism sectors, won Small Consultancy of the Year 2022 and has recently been shortlisted for Small Consultancy of the Year 2023 (winners to be announced in June).
