New Bridgwater Networking Breakfast Club Announced to launch this Autumn

Red Berry Recruitment, Sedgemoor FM, Bridgwater YMCA and New Leaf Life Design have jointly collaborated to create a new Bridgwater Breakfast Club for local SMEs, to be launched on 18th October 2017.

In 2013, there were 4,460 businesses within Sedgemoor, of which 4,000 were classified as micro SMEs in total making up 99.9% of the total business stock within the District. This network will aim to encourage those local businesses to come together.

They announce a very exciting launch event with local google glasses maker Simon Cattell speaking about, “What is Virtual Reality and how might it impact on you and your business?”  He will talk through Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, MR and 360 and what they are and how they work.  We will enter into the world of various headset technology – Oculus, Vibe, GR and Cardboard and why and where these are used and will be used and learn how this emerging technology will penetrate society and business.

Becky Wright Director of New Leaf Life Design said, “We have recently opened new offices in Bridgwater and want to meet our local community. I believe building a strong business network is key to sustainable business growth. My real passion is Wellbeing and how this can link with Corporate Social Responsibility.”

Helen Lacey of Red Berry Recruitment Ltd said, “This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time. I feel that a relaxed, non-subscription , informative networking event, that is local to the Bridgwater area and surrounding towns is something that will benefit many. Our aim is to connect businesses over breakfast and help them hopefully build strong relationships within the community.”
