MailaDoc acquired by Xerox

MailaDoc and its parent company ITEC has been acquired by Xerox.

MailaDoc and ITEC have been star performers in the UK Managed Services space over the past decade – growing our annual revenues from £4m to £50m in those 10 years.

MailaDoc has had a long association with Xerox, having been early adopters of many of its market leading technologies from I-Gen, Nuvera and Versant through to XM-Pie and the Baltoro, the first installed in the UK.

Jon Horler, MailaDoc Managing Director, said: “The acquisition is a recognition of the success of our business.  They share our passion for helping clients manage information across digital and physical platforms. Xerox’s investment in the business will take us to new levels of capability.”

Xerox’s ambition is clear. The acquisition of MailaDoc and ITEC comes hot on the heels of the purchase of Arena Group and Alto Digital.

Xavier Heiss, EVP and President of EMEA Operations, Xerox said: “Xerox’s strategy is to grow in the small and midsize business (SMB) market through the combined power of a strong portfolio of workplace solutions for SMBs and well-established local technology providers.

“ITEC and MailaDoc are leaders in managed print services, specialist IT services and outsourced mailing solutions – areas Xerox is rapidly expanding into with its SMBs offering.”

ITEC and MailaDoc will continue to trade as wholly owned subsidiaries of Xerox, with the same management team, staff and locations.

David Dyas, President of the U.K., Ireland, EurAsia, MEA, and India, Xerox, said: “ITEC and MailaDoc’s impressive organic growth track record really sets it apart.  They have proven year after year that they know how to take technological advancements and translate them into deliverable benefits for a rapidly growing customer base.”
