National law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has been named as a Top Tier firm in the latest Legal 500 guide which ranks the UK’s top lawyers and organisations.
The firm received prestigious Top Tier rankings in eight practice areas across several of its regional offices and has been ‘recommended’ in a further 49 practice areas.
The firm’s South West offering did particularly well with the Bristol and Taunton offices named as Top Tier in six practice areas: commercial litigation, debt recovery, personal injury, professional negligence, family and sport.
The regional offices have also been recommended in 21 further specialist practice areas including employment, commercial property, banking and finance and agriculture and estates.
Additionally, six South West lawyers have been listed in the elite ‘Leading Lawyers’ list, the Legal 500’s guide to outstanding lawyers.
Alex Jakubowski in the Bristol office is named for his work in commercial litigation and professional negligence. Also in the Bristol office, Gareth Schofield is listed for family law and Neil Baker is listed for planning. In the Taunton office Philip Roberts is listed for debt recovery and Philip Brown for commercial property.
In the Next Generation list, Clarke Willmott Bristol’s Tim Copplestone has been named as one to watch in immigration law while Daniel Eames has made the list for family law.
A further three lawyers from the Bristol and Taunton offices were named as Rising Stars and an impressive 41 were named as ‘recommended’.
