HOST opens its meeting room doors for local businesses

Campus accommodation and facilities provider, HOST, has opened a number of meeting rooms across its locations to provide a COVID-safe space, helping local businesses continue their work in a secure environment.

Both Hinkley Campus and Sedgemoor campus, which accommodate the construction team working at Hinkley Point C, offer a number of meeting rooms that are well equipped with a range of audio and visual equipment, including TVs with cameras.

The campuses have remained open and fully operational throughout the pandemic due to their comprehensive safety procedures, which are still in place today, with each room assigned a designated safe level of capacity and cleaning processes as well as pre-event checks taking place to ensure guests are protected.

Across both campuses, there are a number of safety measures enforced, with numerous hand sanitising stations throughout the buildings and fever screening methods and mandatory mask policies in place.

Ela Kadlubowska, Operations Manager, said: “Our number one focus is keeping all of our guests safe and as COVID-19 continues to have an impact on our lives, here at HOST we understand that we need to adapt and provide help to our guests where we can. That’s why we’ve configured our meeting rooms to meet health and safety guidelines to enable meetings to go ahead while adhering to social distancing measures.”
