HOST is now an official provider of the globally recognised Highfield training courses, which allows the campus accommodation and facilities provider to offer face-to-face learning at its training facilities on Hinkley and Sedgemoor Campuses, in Somerset.
From customer service to food safety, HOST’s workplace courses will provide a broad range of hospitality training programmes that can be tailored to each organisation to help train and develop effective teams. By offering these training programmes, HOST can now help employers meet their obligations in ensuring all team members have the relevant and required knowledge to perform their roles.
In addition to face-to-face learning, trainers can also be provided to deliver courses externally, as well as online, allowing the flexibility for individuals to enhance skills at a time that suits them and their needs.
Ela Kadlubowska, Operations Manager, at HOST, said: “We’re really excited to have joined forces with Highfield, widely respected as one of the UK’s leading organisations for vocational qualifications, work-based learning and apprenticeship qualifications.
“At HOST we’re driven by enhancing our team’s knowledge and individual needs to perform effectively, so it seemed a natural step to become a recognised training centre that provides a range of bespoke courses to encourage learning and development.”
HOST operates purpose built campus accommodation sites for the teams working on the construction of the EDF Energy Hinkley Point C project. In addition to accommodation, the campuses provide communal facilities and meeting rooms.
