Hippychick, a multi-million turnover nursery goods business based in Bridgwater, is on a winning streak, despite huge challenges posed by the pandemic this year after clinching the hotly-contested Progressive Preschool ‘Best Distributor Award’.
Hippychick is increasingly well-known by consumers but behind the scenes, Hippychick distributes many of its products to independent nursery retailers across the country. The Progressive PreSchool Awards are voted for by the nursery retailers themselves.
Julia and Jeremy Minchin, Joint Managing Directors of Hippychick, who attended the virtual ceremony, were delighted: “It’s been a challenging year for us, as well as for our competitors, on every level. It’s really reassuring to know that we’re still doing a good job for our customers, despite all the issues we have had to face in this unprecedented year, including working with a skeleton staff of just four during the first lockdown and issues with stock coming into the country.
