Despite the period of uncertainty during the Coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, Chamber member, Lendology CIC, has gone on to recruit a new member of staff.
It has been ‘business as usual’ reports CEO, Emma Lower, who said: “Ensuring effective communication between our new and existing clients, and our funding partners about loan applications has been essential over the last few months. Max Beale joined us in July and has only just managed to meet all of the team in person as the team have all been working remotely.”
In addition to Max joining the organisation as Lendology’s Client Liaison Officer, the social enterprise in Wellington who offers home improvement loans to homeowners, is also celebrating another addition; being recognised as an Approved Member of the Good Market.
The Good Market is a platform that makes it easier for people to find and connect with social enterprises, responsible businesses, and change-makers who are creating a better world.
Lendology has been accepted on to the Good Market platform within the Services Sector and meet the minimum standards of providing preferential services to low income customers and is an organisation that prioritises people and the planet, amongst other criteria.
Emma said of the membership: “This is just another great example of how we are supporting communities in the South West by doing good. The Good Market membership is a testament to the hard work of the team here and the incredible support they provide to our clients looking for ethical loans to improve their homes and quality of lives.”
