IT specialist Cosmic is encouraging women in West Somerset to become Digital Angels.
Maybe someone is looking for a new career or simply keen to help others with their social media.
Cosmic has secured funding from West Somerset and Taunton Council to provide a free programme on social media management for women who live in the former West Somerset district council area.
The first of eight weekly workshops will take place on February 7.
Henry Smith, Business Development Manager, said: “We are supporting women wanting to start their own businesses in social media management in the West Somerset area.
“Social media management involves looking after the profiles and accounts of small businesses, community organisations and local enterprises.
“This may include posting on their behalf and supporting them with their content and strategy. This could be a good source of income for people wanting to work flexibly and independently.
“With these new skills women can be empowered to provide professional support to a range of businesses and enterprises.”
