Wincanton Racecourse will be welcoming the winners on Thursday, 17 October, when racing returns to the Somerset track.
It’s the first of 16 meetings that will provide a feast of entertainment over the next seven months as favourite jump horses battle it out on the track.
The thrill of seeing it all up close and the smell of horses with freshly painted hooves walking around the paddock is enough to get hearts pounding.
For any jump racing fan, the return of racing is the best time of year, and as horses return from their well-deserved holidays, they’ll be butterflies of excitement for the season ahead.
Wincanton prides itself on providing exquisite dishes in the most stunning of locations. With course-facing facilities to enjoy the exhilarating racing and packages that provide a base for the day, there are two fantastic restaurants or pre-book a raceday ticket from just £12 and grab a bite to eat in one of the bars.
