Clarke Willmott LLP announces new partners in Taunton office

The Taunton office of national law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has announced a series of internal promotions, including three new partners.

Claire Tofts in the commercial property team, Dan Gill who specialises in litigation and Paula Squire in the employment team are among six nationwide partner promotions at Clarke Willmott.

In addition to the partner promotions Hannah Atkins has been promoted to associate in the plot sales team at the Taunton office.

The promotions follow continued growth at Clarke Willmott which has also seen recent and planned lateral hires.

Stephen Rosser (pictured), Chief Executive of Clarke Willmott said: “Developing our people is absolutely fundamental to our business and this year I was delighted that promotions to partner included those who had originally joined the firm as paralegals.

“All those promoted have demonstrated excellent commitment to their clients and the firm as well as strong technical legal competence.  Whether our staff began their careers with us or joined at a more advanced level we are committed to training and developing our talent.”

Partner Claire Tofts specialises in secured lending, property acquisitions and disposals and landlord and tenant matters.

Dan Gill has a broad litigation practice encompassing all types of property litigation, commercial litigation, judicial review and contentious wills, trusts and probate.

Also a new partner, Paula Squire has been with the Clarke Willmott employment team for nine years and specialises in employment law and human resources advice.

Promoted to associate, Hannah Atkins is in the plot sales team specialising in preparing the contract packs for the sale of shared ownership houses and flats.

Clarke Willmott LLP is a national law firm with seven offices across the country, including Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton and Taunton.
