Channel Training Ltd has expanded its Apprenticeship offer to support to employability and skill development in the Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure sectors in West Somerset.
Channel Training is a local, government accredited training organisation with a strong track record of Apprenticeship delivery and Personal Development training over many years.
The new Events Assistant Apprenticeship Standard is offered to local businesses with at least 90% funding available. This is suitable for both up-skilling existing staff or recruiting new staff. Events Assistant is an exciting role, typically working within a team of people in an events company or within the events department of an organisation.
The events industry is incredibly diverse and exciting. Events cover a broad range of activities and types of occupation – examples include conferences, meetings, trade shows, weddings and exhibitions.
Anyone from any background can have a successful career in event management if they have the right attitude, passion and commitment to learning.
