Blueloop (www.blueloop.net) is delighted to announce it has gained Cyber Essentials Plus certification. Building on the company’s work securing Cyber Essentials and ISO27001, Blueloop was audited in May to the Cyber Essentials Plus standard and passed with no issues highlighted.
Cyber Essentials is the Government’s base security standard for organisations that use IT. This can be achieved with self-certification. Cyber Essentials Plus is the next step up and involves accredited third party auditing of security best practice. Both Cyber Essentials standards demonstrate to organisations that appropriate security measures are in place and reassure customers and suppliers.
“We are delighted that Blueloop has gained Cyber Essentials Plus certification. This further evidence that we have strong security procedures and technology in place to protect ourselves and our customers. It’s not the end of the road though, we have a commitment to continually improve and verify our security posture and we will continue to adapt to the ever-growing threat landscape,” said Robin Barker, Director, Blueloop Limited.
Cyber Essentials Plus is the second level of certification. Businesses benefit from Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus because:
The process is relatively straight forward as there is a Cyber Essentials readiness toolkit. Completion of the toolkit creates a personal action plan to help your progress towards Cyber Essentials requirements.
