Bridgwater-based control and instrumentation company, AMS Nuclear Engineering, will soon to be moving into larger new premises at the Bridgwater Gateway development just off Junction 24 of the M5.
Demand for the company’s services has continued to grow despite the current pandemic and the move is expected to help AMS take on larger projects in support of the new nuclear power plant being built at Hinkley Point C, as well as those across the wider nuclear industry.
The company has been based in the area for more than 20 years and during this time built a reputation for providing its customers with high quality, expertly designed C&I based systems.
Managing Director, Ben Mellick, said: “This expansion represents another key milestone in the evolution of AMS and will enable us to increase capacity and capability to serve our growing customer base.”
A fit-out programme is due to start in the coming weeks with the facility officially opening in the early new year.
