Weston College celebrated the outstanding success of staff and key strategic partners in 2019 at the Governor’s Christmas Party last Thursday – including Stephen Henagulph, the Chief Executive of Somerset Chamber of Commerce.
The event was held in the Winter Gardens, and attended by over 300 people, including staff, governors, employers and local dignitaries.
Stephen was recognised for his hard work and dedication to the area.
Principal and CEO of Weston College Group, Dr Paul Phillips, who hosted the evening, said: “This year the College had tremendous success, and this event allows us to celebrate the work that goes on every day at Weston College.
“It was particularly enjoyable to celebrate with our key strategic partners, and recognise the impact that they have on our learners.
“One of the people we recognised was Stephen Henagulph who we have a close working relationship with. Somerset Chamber of Commerce has introduced us to new employers from across Somerset, which in turn have supplied our learners with many opportunities, including apprenticeships, traineeships, industry placements and work experience.
“Stephen is extremely committed to seeing Somerset thrive, and shares our ethos of creating brighter futures. I believe that together we are helping to positively impact the region.”
