Local businesses are being invited to celebrate the new-look Somerset Business Awards 2019 at the official launch at the Museum of Somerset later this month.
As well as a glass of bubbly and a gourmet buffet, the evening on 30th May will include the chance to network with sponsors, previous winners and other finalists and entrants.
It will also see the official launch of the new Somerset Business Awards brand, the announcement of new categories and sponsors and, after four years at Wellsprings Leisure Centre, the awards will be moving to a new venue to be revealed on the night of the launch.
Organised by Somerset Chamber of Commerce, the Somerset Business Awards are now in their 15th year and are firmly established as a highlight in the Somerset business calendar.
They offer an excellent opportunity for businesses of all sizes and sectors to meet, be inspired, and showcase their achievements. With 14 different award categories on offer there is something for all businesses across all sectors.
Entries for this year’s awards will open on 3rd June and, once again, applications can be made online through the Somerset Business Awards website.
Taking part in the awards helps to raise the profile of both winners and finalists through media coverage of the event, plus additional coverage through the Chamber and dedicated business awards website.
Being a finalist and, ultimately, a winner, also brings enhanced credibility with customers and clients.
All finalists will feature in individual films which are shown on the awards night to just under 400 guests, while winners receive a certificate and handmade trophy.
Finalists also receive two free places at the black-tie gala dinner and awards ceremony.
The official launch evening at the Museum of Somerset, in Taunton, is the perfect opportunity to find out more about the benefits of being part of one of the most prestigious business awards in the county.
Space are limited and early booking is advised. The launch takes place from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and tickets are £15 + VAT.
