Somerset Chamber welcomed members back to physical events on Wednesday, September 1, at their annual Summer barbecue on the Thatcher’s Terrace at the Cooper Associates County Ground. After running over 260 events online since the start of lockdown, this popular event was a great way of re-starting physical events with guests enjoying reconnecting in person.
Alistair Tudor, Operations Manager at Somerset Chamber, said: “After such a challenging time for businesses, it was fantastic to see so many familiar and new faces in three dimensions! While we’ve all utilised technology to stay in touch and remain connected over the last 18 months, there really is nothing like getting people together to establish and develop meaningful connections.
We have a full calendar into next year so we’re looking forward to a whole host of events for our members over the next few months.”
