SSG trainer and consultant achieves Chartered Fellowship

SSG trainer and consultant Adam Worth received great news at the end of 2020, having successfully achieved Chartered Fellowship.

Chartered Fellowship is IOSH’s elite level of professional membership and is awarded to Chartered Members of at least five years’ standing. These individuals demonstrate dedication to the profession by going ‘above and beyond’. Furthermore, they are role models for other members, the organisation they work for and the occupational health and safety community.

Adam has worked for 15 years to achieve Chartered Fellowship. He began by successfully completing his NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health in 2005, studied and completed his NEBOSH Diploma in 2010, achieved CMIOSH in 2013; and has now become a Chartered Fellow.

In his spare time, Adam completed extracurricular health and safety work including volunteering as a first aider for St. John Ambulance, undertaking the role of School Parent Governor, and providing mental health support for the community group Andy’s Man Club. As well as this, he has been an active member of IOSH committees, including the south west branch, and mentored numerous delegates to chartered status.

Adam said: “I am extremely proud to achieve Chartered Fellow status.  I believe this reflects my dedication and commitment to health and safety, which is more than just a job for me. I am delighted and honoured.”
