Our services include warehousing, transport, asset tracking, asset management, and IT solutions to support visibility of materials from supplier to point of use. We have a proven capability in providing great logistics for large, critically important infrastructure and defence builds.
Our services and experience
Since 2018 we have worked with a Nuclear New Build Generation Company as their strategic logistics partner supporting the build of two high profile multi-billion-pound nuclear reactors at Hinkley Point C. To support this project, we manage over 1.5 million sqft of warehousing, consolidation and external storage space, transport materials to build site, co-ordinate on and off-site logistics activities, manage care & maintenance for key materials and provide visibility of all materials within our control.
Wincanton are proud to play a key role in supporting the construction of the UK’s first nuclear power station in a generation.
