We support experienced SME developers with project-tailored development finance. We generally lend between 55% and 60% of the completed development value (GDV – which will normally equate to 80% or more of the project costs), with loans up to a maximum of £20,000,000. For strong proposals and established developers we can get to 65% of GDV and higher loan amounts.
When it comes to lending, we take a personal approach – working with our clients to fully understand their business and tailoring our facilities to meet their individual needs.
As it stands, we are currently funding around 9,000 units at any one time (making up around 10% of the SME development market) with the gross loan book sat at £2.3bn.
