Weston County Connections - December 2026

Join us for our final Weston Business Breakfast of 2026 at Hornets Rugby Club.

Created to strengthen business relationships, encourage collaboration and support economic growth across Weston-super-Mare, the Weston Business Breakfast provides a welcoming environment for local organisations to connect, share ideas and build valuable partnerships. The event series was launched in response to growing demand from businesses to come together, stay informed about local initiatives and work collectively to support the town's prosperity.

In addition to networking over breakfast, we are delighted to welcome John, Chair of Weston Bournville Pride in Place, for a fireside chat.

Weston Bournville Pride in Place is a community-led, government-backed initiative bringing together residents, businesses, community organisations and public sector partners to help shape the future of the neighbourhood through a £20 million investment programme over the next ten years.

The project will focus on activity in South Ward, South Weston – areas including the Bournville, Coronation, Oldmixion and the Potteries. This exciting project aims to empower local people to identify priorities and develop projects that matter most to them. The programme aims to create lasting positive change across the community.

During this informal discussion, John will share the vision behind Pride in Place, discuss progress to date, and explore the important role businesses can play in supporting local regeneration, community engagement and long-term economic prosperity.

Whether you're looking to expand your network, gain insight into significant developments taking place in Weston-super-Mare, or discover new opportunities to engage with your local community, this breakfast provides the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders and stakeholders from across the region.

The Weston Business Breakfast is delivered by Somerset Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Weston Chamber of Commerce.
