The latest Somerset Chamber economic survey confirms that attracting skilled people remains a key challenge for Somerset businesses. There are many options for businesses to source training and new recruits, with funding available to support businesses.
The Chamber is working with Skill Up Somerset, a free and impartial advisory service can help businesses with their training needs, to host a webinar to guide employers through the options available. This is also an opportunity for businesses to identify gaps in available courses and shape the future of skills programmes in Somerset.
