Somerset Chamber invites you to join our Armed Forces Business Breakfast at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Yeovilton on April 29. If you are interested in finding new talent for your business, then this is relaxed and informative in-person event is for you.
Statistics show that annually, approximately 15,000 people leave the UK armed forces. This highly-skilled group of people presents an opportunity for Somerset’s employers to engage and recruit talent, at a time where in Q1 2025, a third of Somerset businesses surveyed attempted to recruit new staff but over half found it challenging to find the skilled people they require for their business.
Somerset Chamber, an Armed Forces Covenant Silver Member, is gathering business leaders to highlight opportunities to recruit those leaving the armed forces and the local support available for businesses.
There will also be an opportunity to tour Hall 1 and Hall 4 at the museum after the event.
