Online member networking - Updated First Aid guidance for First Aiders and employers

Online member networking is on every 1st Tuesday of the month and this month's guest speaker is Ash Hunt of Emerald First Aid Training Ltd.

Ash Hunt (Director at Emerald First Aid Training Ltd) will be discussing the changes to the Resuscitation Council UK guidance for first aiders, with updates to ratio's of compression to breaths during CPR, defibrillator pad positioning and emphasis on calling for assistance.

He will also be covering the upcoming changes for employers with Martyn's Law effecting those businesses and venues who have over 200 people on their site. This is a great opportunity for those who have been trained in first aid for the workplace to update their knowledge as well as for employers to ask any burning questions or share concerns over their own legal requirements in relation to first aid.

So, what is the monthly networking event all about?

Communication is key for businesses and while physical meetings and networking is a core part of making connections and keeping in touch, we know some of our members simply do not have time to attend events.

That's why we offer online networking catch-ups for our members to help them keep in touch with other businesses and organisations and stay up to date with the latest Chamber and business news.

Our online networking events give members the chance to make the most of an informal networking session and ask questions of each other and the Chamber team whilst gaining insightful information from guest speaker members.
