Online international trade workshop - customs procedures and documentation - February 2024

This introduction workshop is aimed at anyone involved in international trade who needs to understand customs. The workshop will cover the role of HMRC and practicalities such as origin, classification and valuation of your goods, use of documentation including the UK/EUR1, free circulation, AEO, VAT responsibilities and the impact of Incoterms. The workshop also provides an introduction to customs entries.
 
This online workshop will be delivered by Mike Court of International Trade Matters Ltd.
 

 
Mike holds a degree in International Development and a certificate in advanced customs compliance. He is a full member of the Institute of Export, has a green belt in Continued Process Improvements and is a committee member of the Devon International Trade Forum. Mike provides international trade compliance expertise, having worked for 20 years with two US-based multinationals. Prior to working in the private sector, he served in the Royal Navy for 22 years as a logistics expert.
